Another ultra impressive win for Mach Ride 2yo

Ackeret, the first winner by freshman sire Mach Ride, continued his impressive inaugural season, with a sterling 5 3/4-length allowance victory at Parx Racing on December 16th.

The dark bay juvenile was making his third career start, following a debut 3-length triumph at Belmont, and a close up fifth in the $100,000 James F. Lewis S. at Laurel. Ackeret was bred in Florida by Rustlewood Farm Inc., and races now for Pick Six Racing & Silver Streak Stables. Purchased for $53,000 from the OBS June Two-Year-Olds Sale, he has compiled a record of 3-2-0-0 and $60,600 under trainer Rudy Rodriguez.

Mach Ride now ranks third among all freshman stallions in the Southeast. He will stand the 2015 season at Bridlewood for $2,000.
