Another winner for frosh sire Yesbyjimminy

Freshman sire Yesbyjimminy sired his third winner when 2-year-old filly Yes Mz Olga led most of the way en route to a two-length victory in a maiden race at Gulfsteam Park on Sept. 14.

Dueling for the lead through the first quarter mile, the filly took shortly thereafter and pulled away from the field for the win in the 5 1/2-furlong affair.

Financial Aid is campaigned Leon Ellman and David Melin. Yes Mz Olga is trained by Eddie Please, who also campaigned Yesbyjimminy during his racing career.

Yesbyjimminy, the only stallion in Florida by Yes It’s True, was a graded stakes winner and 7-time stakes winner with $586,940 in earnings on the racetrack. As a 2-year-old, Yesbyjimminy was a two-time stakes winner, capturing four of five starts, and went on to become a top Florida-based sprinter at 3 and 4. He hails out of the multiple stakes-producing Pentelicus mare Sisters Creek.
