Big Drama colt romps in MdSpWt score

Major Drama tallied an impressive six-length win in his maiden special weight victory Saturday at Mahonging Valley race track.

The 3-year-old Florida-bred is one of eight winners this year by Big Drama, who ranks third on the Florida Second Crop Sire list by both winners and progeny earnings.

Major Drama left little doubt who was much the best with his powerful stretch run, pulling away in the final quarter-mile after setting a contested pace early.

The winner was bred by Bryan Hilliard and is a half-brother to Boiling Spring S. (G3) winner Strict Compliance and stakes winner Tiree.  Major Drama is owned by Premier Stables Unlimited.
