Big Drama filly has co-fastest work at OBS Under Tack show

A filly by champion Big Drama zipped through her 1/8-mile breeze in :09 4/5 seconds during Wednesday’s Under Tack show for the upcoming March 15-16 OBS Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training sale.

The move tied for the fastest time at the distance during the session.

The chestnut filly, consigned by Southern Chase Farm, Inc. as hip No. 116, is out of the Grand Slam mare Miss Grandiose, who is a half-sister to stakes winner and multiple graded stakes-place It’sallinthechase.

Big Drama’s other offering to work was hip No. 111, a colt consigned by Mayberry Farm that covered the distance in :10 2/5 seconds. The colt comes from the same family as multiple European Champion Ibn Bey (GB), who also ran second in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1).

Big Drama, who was a top-10 Freshman Sire of 2015, has a total of four lots cataloged, including two scheduled to breeze on Friday, in next week’s sale.
