Determined Lady scores second win of '16

Determined Lady, a 3-year-old Big Drama filly, earned her second victory of the year on June 2 with a powerful 2 1/4-length win in a turf allowance at Gulfstream Park.

The winner, owned by her breeder Harold Queen, had some anxious moments when boxed in at the top of the stretch, but made her way between horses to pull away in the final furlong, getting the 1 1/16-miles in a quick 1:40.57.

Big Drama, Florida's second-leading Second-Crop sire of 2016 by earnings and winners, has had five different winners in the past week alone.
