Drama Club streaks to second consecutive score

Drama Club battled to a dead-heat victory with Forced Motion in a May 11 Gulfstream Park turf sprint allowance contest, the second straight win for the 3-year-old Big Drama colt.

Away alertly in the five-furlong affair Drama Club was hot on the heels of Duffle Bag, who blazed through a half-mile in :43.11 seconds. The leader began to falter at that point, and Drama Club was joined in deep stretch by Forced Motion, with the duo hitting the line on even terms in :54.92 on the firm turf.

Drama Club is one of 13 winners this year for his sire, who ranks third on the Florida Second-Crop Sire list.

The winner was bred in the Sunshine State by Carl Bowling and is trained by David Fawkes for Sandra New.
