General Council scampers to debut victory

Big Drama got his second maiden special weight winner in two days on Friday when the 2-year-old General Council galloped to a 3 1/2-length victory in a six-furlong affair.

The winner, bred in Florida by Joseph and Helen Barbazon, is out of the six-figure earner Graceful Ace, who is a sister to five-time stakes winner Beware of the Bop.

Big Drama, with 29 winners to date in 2016, is Florida's leading Second-Crop Sire of winners and ranks second by earnings.
