More big prices for Big Drama 2-year-olds


First-crop two-year-olds by Big Drama continued to be in big demand at the OBS Spring Sale on April 21st.

Hip 97, a filly out of Margaret Smile, by Concerto, sold opening day for $105,000 to Bradley Thoroughbreds. The dark bay miss, a registered Florida-bred, had worked an eighth of a mile in :10.2 on April 13th. She was consigned by Thomas and Casse for Kinsman Stud.

Earlier in the day, Hip 71 sold for $75,000 to Triple Crown. This dark bay filly out of Lost Link, by Lost Soldier, worked a quarter mile in :21.2 on April 13th. She was consigned by Gayle Woods.

Big Drama has had 10 juveniles sell already this season, for an average price of $116,500–best among all Florida Freshman Sires. The 2010 Eclipse Award-winning Sprint Champion is standing the 2015 season for $10,000 Live Foal.
