No suspense for Major Drama in allowance win

Major Drama tallied his second career win on Wednesday with a front-running, three-length score in a six-furlong allowance race at Thistledown.

The 3-year-old colt owned by Premier Stables Unlimited got a brief challenge in the first quarter-mile, but pulled clear soon after for a comfortable score.

Bred in Florida by Bryan Hilliard, Major Drama is a half-brother to Boiling Springs S. (G3) winner Strict Compliance and black type winner Tiree.

Big Drama is a top-15 Second-Crop sire of 2016 with more than $1.1 million in progeny earnings.
