Save the Drama thrills in Presque Isle allowance win

Save the Drama did just that for the stretch run of his allowance victory Sunday at Presque Isle Downs, prevailing by a neck to give the 3-year-old son of Big Drama his second career win.

Stakes-placed as a 2-year-old, Save the Drama has rounded into form nicely this summer and has finished first or second in nearly half of his 13 lifetime starts.

The winner is owned by Clyde Rice, who bought the Florida bred out of the 2013 OBS Mixed Fall Sale. Save the Drama's dam Powerful Two Punch has produced four winners and is a sister to Grade 3 winner Femma.
