Bridlewood Cat earns another big figure in Aqueduct allowance victory

Bridlewood Cat turned in another top-notch performance in her six-furlong allowance win Dec. 8 at Aqueduct. The 3-year-old Bridlewood Farm filly won by nearly three lengths and was given a Beyer Speed Figure of 90 for the impressive effort (VIDEO).

The daughter of Street Sense earned a 92 in her 11 1/4-length maiden special weight win Oct. 13 at Belmont, and could soon be headed to stakes company with the two outstanding performances. Her overall record stands at 2-0-0 in three starts.

Bred by Ashview Farm and Colts Neck Stables, the Jonathan Thomas trainee was a $750,000 purchase at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling sale. She is out of the stakes-placed Ithinkisawapudycat, who is also the dam of Grade 1 Spinaway S. winner Sweet Loretta and is a half-sister to Canadian champion Spring in the Air.
